Dr Ali is a healthcare management & Public health executive , Nephrologist and Transplant Physician. He held various health system / healthcare educational roles and responsibilities over the years at Abu Dhabi Health Services company SEHA and at other academic institutions Currently he is the Chairman of the National UAE Transplant committee at Ministry of Health and Prevention , assistant Dean for Graduate medical education at khalifa University and President Elect for the Middle East Society for Organ Transplantation MESOT and Councillor for the International Society for Organ Donation Professionals ISODP.
Dr Ali Graduated from of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland RCSI and completed his postgraduate training in internal Medicine, Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation at the University of Toronto, Canada. Dr Ali is certified by the American Board and The Royal College of Canada in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and Certified Kidney Transplant Physician by the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS-USA). In addition to his clinical training and qualifications Dr Ali had further training in Healthcare Quality management and patient safety. He obtained the American Board of Medical Management certification from the American College of Physician Executives, Health Care Quality Management Board certification from the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians and completed Master of Public Health certification with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He received various local and international awards over the years including :
