Concurrent Session
Fostering a culture of donation through early education: Yes, you CAN talk to kids about organ donation

|
Room: TBD
Track: N/A

Description

International experiences in education programming for young children. Successful programming establishes that organ donation is a crucial aspect of children’s health and should not be viewed in isolation in the broader context of organ care. Programs that teach concepts related to organ donation to young children in an age-appropriate and sensitive manner, can dispel the misconceptions that persist in many countries and increase registrations, conversations and ultimately consent rates.
